How to negotiate and handle conflict – an overview

Negotiating with others is how we reach desirable outcomes that are ideally mutually beneficial. It helps us to reach conclusions where everyone is happy and conflict is minimised. There are several models that we can use to get to this point, and understand the variables and potential outcomes. In this session we’ll look into using a grid-based model that balances co-operativeness and assertiveness and understand the position of all parties in the negotiation.

It’s designed to help attendees prepare and align strategies for real-life examples of conflict management. The session helps attendees consider, work on and plan for real work or home-based issues.

This session is great for anyone who has to handle any kind of conflict either from an individual, group or team.
